After many months of parents across the country tasked with teaching their children from home, our families have shared their back to school photos and the relief and worries that come with their children returning to a school setting this term.
“Skyla started a new special school today, as she went on to the bus I started to cry and was crying for about three hours but then I was sent this photo of her smiling, I’ve not seen a smile like this for a while, she was having a ball."
"This is Jacob (below left) who is starting year 3, Jacob was diagnosed in January of this year but is doing amazing with his ERT and showing his brother Charlie not to be scared. Charlie is just starting reception and was only diagnosed in February, so it has been a whirlwind of emotions since then."
