Join our popular Facebook Fundraiser this March where we are challenging you to complete 10,000 steps a day. Sounds a lot? Don't worry, we'll be walking right beside you!
How do I join?
Taking part is so easy. Simply set up your fundraiser and join our Facebook group to meet your fellow challengers, download your step tracker and find more tips in our FAQs, for example on how you can adapt the challenge if you are completing it in a wheelchair.
Once you have raised £25, we’ll send you a lovely blue MPS t-shirt and some wildflower seeds to keep you and the bees happy.
Why should I take part?
First and foremost, each step you take will support our charity and ensure we can help children and families affected by rare, life-limiting genetic conditions. If you are looking for some more inspiration to participate, read what our wonderful team of dedicated walkers had to say about last year's challenge which was so much fun:
This month has definitely helped my mental health as well as raising money for a great cause, so thank you to this event for helping me to push myself to get out for walks daily.
Had some hard days and make ups along the way but couldn’t be more delighted to have done it for such a great cause.
I honestly didn’t realise when you don’t do 10,000 steps or even close, how much that is each day; however, if I could walk 10,000 steps a day to find the cure to Fabry for my boys and my dad, I’d walk for a lifetime.
