The aim of this article is to raise awareness of MPS conditions within the ENT professional community. Education is one of the ways we can strive for earlier diagnosis and better patient outcomes, as an excerpt from the article shows: “Awareness amongst ENT specialists is crucial for the long-term outcome of this disease. The ENT specialist is often among the first clinicians to see these children. More than 90% of MPS patients have head and neck manifestations”.
