It was dancing shoes at the ready for the Winter Ball, hosted by the Scott family, on 3rd February, all in honour of their daughter Sophia. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for raising awareness and vital funds. Sophia’s Winter Fundraising Ball raised over £40,000 and we were delighted to receive a donation as one of the nominated charities supported by the event. The Scott family strive every day to provide the best life possible for Sophia as she battles MPS III, Sanfilippo and they also create awareness wherever they go. Their hope is to shine a light on this rare genetic condition to encourage more investment into research and clinical trials to fight back against Sanfilippo and to provide glimmers of hope, love and support to other families.
