MPS Society are asking for nominations to win a £1,000 Movement for Good award from Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.
MPS Society is encouraging people to nominate them for a chance to win £1,000 as part of specialist insurer Ecclesiastical's Movement for Good awards, which is giving £1million away to charities this summer.
It’s quick and easy to nominate MPS Society online. Nominations are open from Monday 24 May to Sunday 13 June and you can vote for MPS Society online at www.movementforgood.com/#nomiateACharity.You will need their registered charity number which is 1143472 and their sector which is ‘disability’.
Winners will be drawn at random and the more times MPS Society is nominated the more chance it has of being selected.
This money will make a big impact as £1,000 could support five families with tailored support, advocacy and information. Your support could help families with an MPS or related diagnosis to live the lives they want.
MPS Society is encouraging everyone to use their social media channels to ask people to vote for them to give the charity the best possible chance of winning.
Anna Featherstone, Head of Fundraising and Communications at the MPS Society, said: “We were delighted to win £1,000 last year through the Movement for Good Award and are applying again to transform the lives of those affected by MPS, Fabry and related diseases. If we won, this money would be extremely beneficial to our members and supporters. Please tell as many people as you can about the award and encourage them to vote for us!”
Mark Hews, Group Chief Executive of Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, says: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of Ecclesiastical’s Movement for Good awards for the third year running. Our Movement for Good awards will continue to help charities at a time when they need it most and we know that for many charities, £1,000 can make a real difference.
“We were thrilled to receive so many nominations from the public last year and this year we are encouraging even more people to nominate a good cause. Ecclesiastical, the fourth largest corporate donor in the UK, is a unique financial services group. We are owned by a charity which means all available profits can be given to the good causes that are so important to our customers. As a company whose purpose is to contribute to the greater good of society, charitable giving is at the heart of our business.”
